The Beginning

We all dream of finding the "thing" we hope we can do for like... ever, right? Which is pretty silly, if you really think about it. How are we supposed to know what we would want to do for 40 or 50 or even 60or more years? It's an interesting concept. I don't think it's something we're supposed to go out searching for and decide "this is it, this is what i'll do forever". I think its something we're supposed find by accident. Or maybe it's something we have a passion for, something we do or are interested in, something we thrive in. We research it, we learn about it. THIS, this is the thing we are meant to run with. And maybe sometimes that one thing isn't the most ideal after a while. I used to make handmade clothing, and I truly thought that was what I was going to do for the rest of forever. After working in and around this passion, I decided it was more of a hobby that I loved sharing with those I care about, not something I can make a living off of, personally. When we are looking for that "thing", there will be trial and error and sparks and extinguish. That is what is needed to find what we truly love, we fall into it, in a way. One day, I decided to make a cup of tea with raw ingredients, ginger, peppercorn, cinnamon, fresh orange peel and honey. It was the best id ever had. I've been drinking tea for a long while now. I have a massive collection of loose leaf and was a Teavana addict. I couldn't visit the store without spending at least a hundred dollars. I love the benefits of loose leaf, researching all the different kinds of herbs and flowers and fruit and spices and what it might help with. I was thinking about all of these things while making this raw cup of tea and realized it is one of my passions. Learning about it is interesting and freeing and just so exciting. I thought, "what if I just started blending some teas, would I enjoy that? Could that work for me? What if I create blends that don't use flavorings and I kept it natural? Would that be a challenge? I hardly see any blends without "natural flavors" or "artificial flavors" added. I want to understand why. I then began this journey.
